Performance & Drive
Performance
The Taycan delivers. Launch control provides repeatable maximum acceleration — no Tesla-style "battery too hot" limitations. The Turbo S hits 62mph in 2.8 seconds, every time.
In town
Manageable despite its width. The steering is light at low speeds, and visibility is acceptable. The low seating position feels sporty.
On the motorway
Refined and composed. Wind noise is well-controlled despite the wide body. Range drops at speed, but the 270kW charging compensates.
On a twisty road
Exceptional. This is where the Taycan shines — proper Porsche handling, incredible grip, and that instant electric torque. It's one of the best driver's cars regardless of powertrain.
Space & Practicality
Front seats
Sports seats as standard — comfortable and supportive. The interior is beautifully finished with Porsche's typical attention to detail.
Rear seats
The saloon's sloping roofline limits headroom. Two adults can fit, but tall passengers will struggle. The Sport Turismo offers better rear headroom.
| Measurement | Space |
|---|---|
| Rear legroom | Adequate |
| Rear headroom | Compromised (saloon) |
| Rear width | 2 adults |
Boot space
407 litres rear (saloon) plus 84 litres frunk. Sport Turismo offers more luggage space (446 litres).
Interior & Tech
Interior quality
Outstanding. This is a proper Porsche interior — premium materials, perfect build quality, and serious attention to detail.
